How does beautiful Sunlight generate clean electricity?

Sun is one of the best energy sources for the Earth. 

Sunlight carries broad wavelengths of light from UV-C (200 nm ~ 280 nm), UV-B (280 nm ~320 nm), UV-A (320 nm ~ 400 nm),  Violet (400 nm ~ 430 nm), Blue (430 nm ~490 nm),  Green (490 nm ~ 575 nm), Yellow ( 575 nm ~ 590 nm),  Orange (590 nm ~ 620 nm), Red (620 nm ~ 700 nm), NIR (700 nm ~2,500 nm), MIR (2,500 nm ~ 25,000 nm), FIR (25,000 nm ~ 1,000,000 nm)  


As soon as Sunlight reaches the Earth, Photovoltaic Panels start harvesting Sunlight and converting Sunlight Energy to DC Power. 

DC Power flows thru string to Solar Inverter.  

Solar Inverter inverts DC Power to AC Power. 

AC Power can be used by home appliances or can be fed into Utility Grid. 






There are two key components in a Photovoltaic system, one is Solar Inverter, and the other is Photovoltaic Panel. 

Solar Inverter has three common types: 

1.  String Inverter: Most conventional inverter, which limits the energy conversion ratio of all  Photovoltaic Panels to match the Photovoltaic panel with the lowest energy conversion ratio. 

2. Micro Inverter:  Numerous Micro Inverter as the same amount of photovoltaic panel. 

3. Optimized Inverter: It combines the great advantage of both String Inverter and Micro Inverter.  Single simplified inverter with numerous optimizers as the same amount of photovoltaic panel.
